Peggie W. Koon, Ph.D., the 2014 ISA President, 2015 Chair of the Automation Federation, and 2016 Chair of ISA’s Nominating Committee, personally requests ISA leader nominations for this year’s Society election.

Dear Fellow ISA Leader,

I have always felt that the future of any organization is largely dependent on how successful it is in choosing the right future leadership. In that sense, our Society is much like any other successful organization—ISA has been successful because of the dedicated efforts of leaders like you. And, like me, many of you made the decision to serve in an ISA leadership role because of the influence of your peers—other ISA leaders encouraged you to volunteer to serve. So now I am encouraging you to help ISA identify candidates for the leadership positions currently open for election in 2016. We are seeking nominations for the following positions:

  • Society President-elect Secretary
  • Society Treasurer
  • Department Vice President-elect
    • Automation & Technology
    • Publications
    • Standards & Practices
    • Strategic Planning
  • Executive Board Member:
    • Geographic experience—2 seats
    • Technical experience—1 seats
    • Operational experience—1 seats

The nomination process is fast and simple

  1. Review the position descriptions
  2. Identify an individual who meets the criteria
  3. Submit a completed nomination form by 31 March 2016

Thank you in advance for supporting this important effort—for the future of ISA!

All the Best,
Dr. Peggie W. Koon, Chair
2016 ISA Nominating Committee
