Scope
- Preparation of standards and/or recommended practices for laboratory and field measurement of noise caused by control valves.
- Development of standards for prediction or verification of control valve generated noise.
- Related activities including, but not limited to, bibliography, description of test facilities.
Purpose
This committee has been formed as successor to ISA59 to develop standards and/or recommended practices for control valve noise measurement and prediction.
