How do you feel you will best contribute to ISA's strategic objectives?
Let's discuss Financial Stability. As treasurer, I had the privilege of supporting and championing the tireless work of our staff and board, culminating in a near break-even operating statement for 2022. By achieving a break-even or better operating budget, we can leverage our operating net income and investment portfolio growth towards riskier and/or capital-intensive initiatives that align with our mission and vision.

The key to success lies in unifying ISA's efforts towards a common goal. By aligning our focus on expanding awareness of ISA and showcasing how we can make a better world through automation, we can attain financial stability and respond swiftly to market demands.

By efficiently directing our limited resources toward strategic objectives, we can accomplish even more extraordinary feats. As a seasoned leader with experience across various roles, I am confident in my ability to steer us toward a shared vision and unify us toward our goals.

How do you feel you will best contribute to ISA's strategic objectives?
After more than 40 years in the automation industry I have learnt to connect with and to help younger generations in their career development (i.e., passing on the baton). Some of my earliest work memories was the help I received from the experienced engineers at conferences and other learning opportunities. I believe it's right to give back with mentoring.  Hence, working for a vibrant community has been key interest of mine in furthering the SAFESEC Division and now for the ISA going forward. I would welcome the opportunity to work on the executive board to focus in this area.
